THE SELLER AND PURCHASER AGREES TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS OF THIS KITTEN/CAT CONTRACT:

1.  This kitten/cat is purchased as a:
___Pet (altering required) ___Show Quality Pet (altering required) ___Breeder

A) Breeder guarantees that the cat being sold is a purebred Ragdoll cat, with a pedigree, and is eligible for registration with T.I.C.A.

B) If buyer transfers cat/kitten to another owner, the buyer agrees to let seller know and approve the transaction.  This information is also for GA Southern Dolls' record purposes.
C) Although the breeder can give an opinion of a cat/kitten being show/breeding quality, it is not a guarantee that the kitten will win in a show.  Breeder advises buyer to examine kitten in person to decide the quality of the kitten before purchase.

D) If the cat is purchased as a pet or show quality pet:

    ~The buyer agrees to have him/her altered before the cat is six months old.  The buyer agrees that this cat will not be used for stud/breeding. In the
      event of breeding, seller can claim ownership of the parent.  Kittens produced from pet/show quality cats may not be sold.
    ~The seller agrees to provide buyer with registration form for the cat after he/she is altered and written evidence from a veterinarian is sent or faxed to

      seller.

2.  Seller agrees to provide a complete medical history and record of all vaccinations this kitten/cat has received, along with the following health guarantee:

A) The cat has a one year guarantee against fatal genetic or congenital defects. The seller will replace the cat with another kitten when seller receives proof

of defect in the form of a complete autopsy report from a licensed vet. If breeder has no kittens available, the next litter with a kitten of equal value will be
replaced. All cats will be replaced with another kitten of like kind and quality.  There will be no cash refunds and seller is not responsible for any shipping
costs. Buyer is responsible for any medical costs after purchase.

B) The cat is guaranteed healthy for 72 hours. Buyer is advised to take this kitten/cat (at purchaser's expense) to a veterinarian for a complete health
check within this period. This cat may be replaced within 72 hours if a medical problem is found. This request must be within 72 hours after buyer takes
possession of the cat and accompanied with a letter from the vet stating why the cat's health is in question. If seller has no kittens available, the next litter with a kitten of equal value will be replaced. If buyer fails to notify seller of said health problem, buyer will be deemed to have accepted said animal. There

will be no cash refunds and seller is not responsible for any shipping costs.

C) It is recommended that you do not allow your Ragdoll kitten to be given a Feline Leukemia shot.  It is safe to have a veterinarian give your kitten the combo test for Feline Leukemia/Feline Aids, but some Ragdolls are allergic to the Feline Leukemia shot and there have been cases in which Ragdolls have died from the Feline Leukemia shot.  This contract will be void if your Ragdoll kitten is given the Feline Leukemia shot.

3.  Buyer also agrees:
 

A) to provide adequate veterinary care and vaccinations,
A) to never declaw the cat unless deemed necessary by a veterinarian,
B) to provide a clean environment for your kitten,
C) to never allow this cat to roam outdoors, and
D) not to place this cat in a laboratory or pet shop. If the buyer is unable to keep the cat for any reason, seller will be given first right to obtain the cat.

4.  In the event of breech of this agreement, the contract will be void and buyer agrees to pay all reasonable attorney's fees and legal expenses as may be allowed by law and incurred by seller in enforcing Seller's rights under this agreement.
